Merry Christmas everyone.  I wanted to report that we are still in the hospital and will be through Christmas.  Thankfully Christ is here with us.  I appreciate the body of Christ rising to continually show Himself to us.  You all are amazing.  How humbling and amazing it is to be surrounded by such love.  I know Lydia is being blessed by all of your prayers and love.

We were blessed to have a full week of uneventful bliss.  Lydia was feeling so much better than the week before, but slowly she seemed pitiful.  By yesterday, she had so much congestion that her whole system was all messed up again.  Thankfully, she was able to be comfortable as much as possible.  She had so much congestion that she had problems breathing and eating.  She once again is on oxygen and a feeding tube.  It is questionable whether she has pneumonia.  Her chest x-rays look good though.  The medical staff is trying to keep infection from creeping in.

Hopefully her white blood count will come up high enough to start chemo again and get a more semi-permanent feeding tube.  I pray that tonight will be uneventful.

Lydia is such a blessing.  She is beautiful and peaceful in the midst of such terror.  God is holding her all the way through this.  He loves her so much.  He is also holding me and David.  Please continue to pray. 

We are praying that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
